Privacy
FairXG collects as little as it can. There are no adverts, no tracking cookies and no analytics, and you don't need an account to use it. This page lists everything that is kept, and where. Last updated 6 November 2026.
In your browser
Your bet slip, your choice about sharing prices, that you've confirmed you're 18 or over, and whether you've hidden the welcome message are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you save a slip to your account. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in, and a short-lived one while you sign in with Google. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
If you have an account
We keep your email address (and your name, if you sign in with Google), the teams you follow, the slips you save with their results, and whether you want team news emails. We use your email only to sign you in and, if you choose, to send team news, never for marketing and never sold or shared. Emails are sent through our email provider. Sign-in links and session tokens are stored only in a form that can't be used to sign in.
To run the service, FairXG's operators can see account details and a log of activity: sign-ins, screenshot reads (how many selections were read, never the image) and saved slips. The activity log is kept for 90 days.
You can delete your account from your account page at any time; it removes all of this straight away.
Slip screenshots
When you import a screenshot, it is sent to our server and on to Anthropic, the company whose AI model reads the selections and odds. FairXG doesn't save the image. Anthropic handles it under its privacy policy and commercial terms, which say it doesn't use this data to train its models. Crop out anything you'd rather not send, such as a balance or account number, before you upload.
Shared prices
Only if you tick "Share its prices" when importing a slip: for each selection on a match that hasn't started, FairXG keeps the bookmaker, the match, the market, the odds, the fair chance at that moment and the date. Nothing else is kept: not the image, your stake, your IP address or which selections were on the same slip. These prices can't be linked back to you, so they can't be deleted on request; they appear only as averages in the bookmaker tracker.
Server logs and limits
Like any website, the server records each request (your IP address, the page and the time) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept for no more than 30 days and aren't used for anything else.
To limit how many screenshots each visitor can have read a day, we count them against a scrambled form of your IP address, mixed with a secret key and the date, so the count can't be linked to you or from one day to the next. The counts are deleted after two days.
Data from elsewhere
Results, fixtures, odds and team news come from public sources such as football-data.co.uk, ESPN and news reports. Team news is about players' public availability for matches, as reported in the press.
Your rights
Under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 and similar laws you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Apart from server logs and, if you have one, your account, FairXG holds none.
